Jailed independent journalist forced to coexist with common prisoners.

The independent journalist and prisoner of conscience Fabio Prieto Llorente, locked inside a special cell in the Prison Kilo 8 in the province of Camaguey, is forced to live with common prisoners, denounced a relative of the prisoner of conscience.

Clara Lourdes Prieto Llorente, sister of the jailed reporter pointed out to the Independent Cuban Agency for Press and Information LUX-INFO-PRESS, that Fabio complained that common prisoners spent all day shouting, singing and striking the bars of the cell, reason that forces Fabio to spend all day lying in his bed.

The same source confirmed that the independent journalist suffers from pulmonary emphysema and pains in his back.

Fabio Prieto Llorente is a member of the group of the 75 opponents and independent journalists sanctioned to long prison sentences during the wave of repression unleashed by the Castro regime in the Spring of 2003. Sanctioned to 20 years in prison, Prieto Llorente is a resident of the Isle of Pines.

Periodista independiente encarcelado obligado a convivir con presos comunes.

El periodista independiente in prisionero de conciencia Cubano Fabio Prieto Llorente, confinado en una celda especial del régimen en la Prisión Kilo 8 de Camaguey, ha sido obligado a convivir con presos comunes, según denunció un familiar del mismo.

Clara Lourdes Prieto Llorente, hermana del reportero encarcelado dijo a la Agencia Cubana Independiente de Información y Prensa Lux Info Press, que Fabio se queja que los reos comunes se pasan las horas del día gritando, cantando y golpeando las rejas, por lo que el periodista pasa en su cama todo el tiempo.

La propia fuente confirmó que el reportero padece de un enfisema Pulmonar y dolores en la espalda.

Fabio Prieto Llorente, forma parte del grupo de los 75 opositores y periodistas independientes condenados a prisión durante la ola represiva desatada por el régimen de Fidel Castro en la Primavera del Año 2003. Sancionado a 20 años de prisión, Prieto Llorente es residente de Isla de Pinos.
