Puenteinfocubamiami.org)- The prisoner of conscience and president of the Pedro Luis Boitel Party for Democracy ended the hunger strike he began on September 15, in solidarity with the prisoner of conscience Victor Rolando Arroyo Carmona.

"Today in the afternoon we received a telephone conversation from Bayamo, place where Félix Navarro was transferred to and received confirmation by his daughter Sahilí that her father had ended the hunger strike that lasted 20 days"- declared Caridad Beltrán in conversation with the Information Bridge Cuba Miami.

Sahilí pointed out that today they had the opportunity to visit her father for 10 to 15 minutes; he is in the hospital of the prison Las Mangas in Bayamo, Granma; he is very thin but that Felix maintains his firm beliefs.

Now, the recuperation process begins and her father feels good. We hope that he continues to recuperate with God's help.

Sahilí's Note to the Media:

I want to make public the fact that before we left Guantánamo, The prison's ward officer Chediak informed me that my father's Transfer and that of Arroyo took place because in the prison they understood that re educator Juan Armesto Vela was only doing his job that is why they offered the transfer.

Unfortunately, we know they have the strenght and power but Justice and reason is on our side.

Puenteinfocubamiami.org)- El prisionero de conciencia y presidente del Partido Por La Democracia Pedro Luís Boitel Félix Navarro Rodríguez, dejó la huelga de hambre que comenzó el pasado 15 de septiembre en solidaridad con el también prisionero conciencia Víctor Rolando Arroyo Carmona.

"En la tarde de hoy tuvimos comunicación telefónica desde de la ciudad de Bayamo, lugar donde fue trasladado Félix Navarro Rodríguez quien cumpliendo una condena de 25 años de prisión, dejó la huelga de hambre que duró 20
días"- declaró Caridad Beltrán en conversación telefónica con el Puente Informativo Cuba Miami.

Nos decía Sahilí su hija, que hoy tuvieron la posibilidad de ver a su padre alrededor de 10 o 15 minutos, que lo tienen en el hospitalito de la prisión Las Mangas; lo encontraron muy delgado pero que es increíble la firmeza y los principios que mantiene Félix.

Sahilí lo encontró muy delgado y de muy mal color y ahora comienza el proceso de recuperación pero que su padre se sentía bien. Esperamos que con la ayuda de Dios que la hemos tenido presente en todos estos días, él continúe su recuperación.

Quiero dar a conocer que antes de salir de Guantánamo, el jefe de la prisión, oficial Chediak me comunicó que el traslado de mi padre y de Arroyo había sido producto de que ellos entendían dentro del penal que el oficial re educador Juan Armesto Vela estaba cumpliendo con lo establecido y que por eso ellos ofertaban el traslado.

Desgraciadamente, como todos conocemos ellos tienen la fuerza y el poder aunque nosotros tenemos la razón.
